首先是传统节日。传统节日，是传统文化的重要组成部分，是我们继承与发扬传统文化的一种良好方式。然而在现在，随着西方圣诞节，情人节等一系列节日的广泛传播，传统节日却渐渐被淡化了。鲜少有人在端午节赛龙舟，吃粽子；在重阳节登高插茱萸；在中秋节赏月，庆团圆；在腊月初八熬一锅热腾腾的腊八粥祈平安。在西方节日被人们热火朝天的庆祝之时，谁还会想起这些内涵丰富，意义非凡的传统节日，与习俗呢？恐怕，早已将它们抛之脑后了吧？

其次是传统的歌舞。凤阳花鼓，云南花灯，东北秧歌等早已被人们认为是俗不可耐，在公园中看到老年人扭秧歌时，还有许多的年轻人加以嘲讽，而西方传入的街舞，雷鬼等舞蹈却被年轻人大加追捧，成为他们的心头大爱。而在一些摇滚，rap等流行歌曲广为传唱的同时，中国的一些民间音乐以及国粹京剧受到了不同程度的冷落。随着时代的发展，许多人抛弃了传统歌舞，转而奔向了流行音乐与舞蹈的怀抱。
